I have a question:

Why is it NOT racism for 98% of the black population to vote for Obama because he is black?

Why is it AUTOMATICALLY racism for ONE person to vote for McCain because he is white, or NOT vote for Obama because he is black?

Why is it racism to be concerned about Obama's numerous Marxist and race-hate associations, but okay for everyone to criticize McCain about anything and everything?

Isn't Obama supposed to be the "post-racial" candidate? Doesn't he represent CHANGE? Isn't he beyond past partisan politics? Why is it automatically "racism" to criticize or question Obama when he is supposed to be beyond all that old racial conflict?

This early, i really can't tell which i would side with, but i am leaning towards obama. Furthermore, the GOP base is not even warming up to mccain (of course, i could be wrong) and even though it's still early in the game, this just proves to show how we see our candidates to-date. i know i will get burned for this, but i think mccain is a warmonger. i get the impression that he doesn't care to what happens to our troops in the middle east and the other parts of the world. Can’t we just all get along? i think it is time for a purification; i think it is time for a change; i think it is time for obama time. Now that the candidates are set for the US Presidential Election, Barack Obama and John McCain are beginning to set the tone for their campaign. Looking at their most recent speeches in http://pollclash.com , what do you think about what you hear?

kYLa21,

I'm not going to "burn" you... but I will ask you some questions to consider. First, McCain a "warmonger"? The guy spent 8 years being tortured for America, could have LEFT EARLY and refused to leave his men behind.

As with any claim, what are your FACTS to support he is a warmonger? Sorry, "feelings" don't cut it in the real world. What specific facts do you have that are evidence of "warmongering"?

I'm no McCain fan, but he's certainly the lesser of two evils.

You want "change" with Obama (that's two media soundbites you have repeated so far). What "change"? Name ONE THING Obama has accomplished. Name one REAL change he will bring that is good. He was ranked this year as the leading liberal in Congress, MORE liberal than Kennedy or Clinton. He has a long history of Marxist, and white-hating mentors, associates and teachers. He is a GREAT speech giver, but when he doesn't have notes, he makes gaff after gaff (when ONE gaff got Dan Quayle mercilessly ridiculed). He said America has 57 states! He has claimed to "misspeak" numerous times when it was apparent he just simply doesn't KNOW what he's talking about.

This is not about "burning" your opinion. I'm more concerned with teaching people to THINK, rather than being caught up in the emotional media frenzy.

They only "change" you are going to see with Obama, is skyrocketing taxes, a rapid increase of government power and control, decimation of American security, and appeasement of people who publicly claim they want to destroy us. That's change I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE IN.
